It’s Pretty Simple
I think our kids need more time playing in the dirt, exploring their surroundings, and serving those around them.
The problem is the time, anxiety, and stress that comes with planning and getting the kids out there. Between kids age differences, sports activities, homework, careers and any other excuse you can come up with, families today are finding it harder to find moments to fit these activities into their lives.
This is where I come in. I am going to take the time to find every way for you to get your family out there. Want to go to National parks, State Parks, National Forests, or just out? Do you think your children are a little self-centered, stressed out, or worried about unimportant aspects of their lives? Let’s get them in nature, let’s get them serving others, let’s elevate them and let them see that there are so many more amazing experiences to be had!
When you start making your packing list lets make sure you have the simple things that make the adventure. Remember when you had your first child and you left the house for the first time? You brought everything!! The grocery cart was full of stuff and you were wondering where you were going to put the groceries? Okay, maybe you didn’t do that but you know someone who did. Let’s not let that happen when you go outdoors. Let’s keep it simple so you can enjoy the experience and not stress about packing things you’ll never use.
Having five kids we buy almost everything on sale and we make sure it’s quality so that, hopefully, it survives through a few kids. I’m going to tell you all about those simple things that you need and maybe a few frivolous ones that makes us moms feel good about ourselves, too. I love finding a good deal and I hope to share a few with you!
Why do I do this? Because I love my husband, 4 boys, and little girl! Planning in advance is the only way it happens! We live near the Ocean in Southern California where when we aren’t playing sports, or having dance parties, we are planning and enjoying the adventures that the world has to offer.
I love hearing from you! Feel free to contact me at Chelsea(at)elevationbound(dot)com.
